July 15, red c.d.s. on folded letter with matching Negative Fancy "PAID/ 3cts" in large box, addressed to Dartmouth, N.H., letter not dated but remaining contents refer to the shipwreck of the Franklin; some wear at central vertical fold, still Very Fine, a very beautiful marking and exceedingly rare.
