1867, 12¢ black, E. grill (90), horizontal pair, each with well defined grill, struck by black segmented cork cancels and tied by bold blue Calais postmark on June 1868 cover to Cadiz, Spain, overpaying the 22¢ British mail rate via France by 2¢, per Cunard steamer Java, two different New York postmarks in red, blue merchants' datestamp, bold red "8.R" due handstamp, right stamp with small corner crease, Very Fine usage.
