AN UNLISTED AND NO DOUBT UNIQUE CANCEL.

The red handstamped "10" is believed to be that of New Haven, Ct. No examples of 9X1 have been recorded from New Haven, but it is certainly not beyond the realm of possibility. The stamp is known to have been used from such towns as Baltimore, Md., Jersey City, N.J., Sing Sing and New Hamburgh, N.Y. and even Hamilton, Ont., Canada.
