Cayman Islands 1889 Jamaica 2d green used in Cayman Islands (SG Z3), cancelled violet double oval postmark "Grand Cayman/ Post Office/ Sep 26 1889". Perf toning. Fine and rare. Believed to be the earliest recorded example of any Cayman Is. postal marking. This Jamaica branch post office was opened in Georgetown. Grand Cayman sometime in 1889. Very few examples have survived, often mistakenly discarded as fiscal usages because of the violet ink used to apply the marking.

Colombia Consular Airmail overprints, 1928-29 envelopes (5) from a bank correspondence (4 different bank) in New York to Bogata bearing various U.S. values (8, with some perfins) cancelled on departure, in combination with New York overprints "EU" on 30c (10), two cancelled in New York and the other three tied by Servicio de Transports / Cartagena", one is "AR" and taxed; also includes 1930 envelope, portion of back missing, to Bogota bearing U.S. 2¢ (2) in combination with Colombia 1929 25c all tied by departure c.d.s., taxed 25c on arrival, so not accepted for postage, interesting assembly, F-VF.
