Adriatic (117E), a print of the steel engraving used by the NBNCo. as the basis for the 12¢ 1869 pictorial, measures about 5" x 2½", Very Fine; also a Fine 1864 "$10" note from the Commercial Bank of Providence that features the same vignette; the note is actually a "raised note" having had the two "10"s and the "TEN DOLLARS" inserted into a bill of a lower denomenation. A most attractive pair of 1869 collateral items.
