1843-44, Rawdon, Wright and Hatch, three folded letters postmarked New York and sent to the New York State Comptroller's office in Albany, each is a certificate of delivery from the engravers of either bank notes or printing plates and each is signed by a different engraver: July 21, 1843, bank notes to the Ogdensburg Bank, signed by Freeman Rawdon, Nov 3, 1843, bank notes to the Phenix Bank of N.Y., Neziah Wright; Oct 5, 1844, five printing plates to the Powell Bank of Newburgh, Geo. W. Hatch; all Very Fine.

1847, 10¢ black (2), horizontal strip of three, position 94-96R. Large margins to just in at bottom, ample at left, light grids in red, hinged onto fragment showing straightline "PANAMA" and manuscript "Paid", left stamps with pre-print paper creases, center stamp with small tear at top. Fine appearance, though we cannot confirm that handstamp and strip originated on the same cover, the red inks match and the presentation is extremely attractive.
