1904 (30 Sept.) "Feldpostkarte" from Metz to Lüderitzbucht (5.1), then Windhoek (1.2.05), and finally Keetmanshoop (8.3), from whence returned to Lüderitzbucht, c.d.s. has large "05" year date, handstamped "zurück" and "Empfänger selbst mit Hilfe der amt-/lichen Listen nicht zu ermitteln. Postamt Windhoek" in violet, and with typewritten label "Ohne genaue Angabe des jetzigen Truppenteils nicht zu ermitteln. Kaiserliches Postamt Windhuk Feldpoststelle", Very Fine. Afrika" provisional three-line date stamp, with "Ramansdrift" printed registration label, faults or defects, Fine and exceptional usage.

On 27-28 November, Warmbad was attacked several times by the Namas under Morenga. It appears that the canceller was lost during the fighting. Until the arrival of the new cancellation device on 18 February 1905, a provisional typeset canceller was utilized.

1905 (8 Oct.) Cape of Good Hope ½d stationery card to Budapest via Mier (15.11), and by camel for Upington (21.11), bearing Yacht type 10pf (2) cancelled by "Hasuur/Deutsche-/Südwestafrika" c.d.s. of 8.10.05 and 29.10.05 respectively, Very Fine and most interesting usage.

Expertization: 2000 B.P.B. Certificate.

The current Cape of Good Hope postal stationery cards were sold for use on the postal route through British Bechuanaland which was faster than the normal route (usually one month). Hasuur was on the land border. The two different dates for the 10 pfennig stamp are explained by the fact that the card was originally franked for transit across German South West Africa and the card was to be sent through British Bechuanaland. The second 10pf possibly paid part of the missing ½d of the Cape franking. The difference in dates is explained by the infrequent postal service from Hasuur.

"Feldpostbrief" from assistant doctor of the 5th Battery (Southern part) to Munich showing "Kuis/Deutsch-/Südwestafrika" c.d.s., 1905 (24 Apr.) "Optischer Telegraph" envelope (damaged at top) sent as a field post envelope from a member of the Second Field Regiment, 4th Company to Germany with similar "Kuis" c.d.s., 1905 "Feldpostbrief" from the First Field Telegraph Division, 4th Section with Kub c.d.s. and soldier's letter cachet "Etappe Nomtsas" (Maltahöhe), 1904 (18 Sept.) from Devant-les-Ponts to a member of the First Field Regiment in Gibeon redirected to Grootfontein and then Windhoek, 1905 (22 Sept.) Friedemann-Berichten, p. 503), and a wealth of other interesting cancellations and usages, Fine to Very Fine.
