1847, 10¢ black (2), mostly large margins to just touching at bottom left, lovely color and sharp impression, tied by two strikes of red square grids on 1849 folded letter to London, Canada West, matching "New-York Feb. 24" c.d.s. and manuscript "9" due, faint Queenston exchange c.d.s., London receiving c.d.s. on reverse, file fold clear of stamp, Fine usage.

1847, 10¢ black (2), full to large margins, fresh bright shade and sharp impression, lightly tied by red square grid on 1850 folded letter to Hamilton, Canada West with red New York and black Queenston postmarks at center, red Hamilton datestamp on back, manuscript 4½ due marking; lettersheet with closed tear beneath "Canada" in address, stamp with few natural bleach specks in top margin, still an attractive usage, Fine.

1847, 5¢ red brown (1), large to clear margins, tied by red grid, matching "New Orleans La. Apr. 20" c.d.s. on 1851 folded cover to Cognac, France, orange red Calais c.d.s. and bold "Colonies &c. Art. 13." boxed handstamp at right, 15 décimes handstamp struck over both British and Cognac backstamps; stamp with tiny tear, cover with portion of address erased and lettersheet with staining from misguided attempt to remove natural bleach specks, otherwise Fine.
