Württemberg 14kr yellow orange (Michel 41a), tied by one of two strikes "Stuttgart, 15/12 (5)" on 1873 registered folded letter to Taegerweilen, Switzerland, redirected to Meilen, black "Chargé" handstamp, backstamped Wurtt. railroad, Marstetten and Taegerweilen (all 16.12) and Meilen (17.12), Extremely Fine. Postage was 7kr to Switzerland plus 7kr for registration. Scott 52.

Württemberg 14kr yellow orange (Michel 41a), horizontal pair, used with 1kr yellow green and 7kr blue (36a, 39a), cancelled "Stuttgart, 1 Aug. 11V12, 1869" c.d.s. on envelope to London, England, red boxed "P.D." and London Paid exchange office c.d.s. (2.9), blue sender's handstamp and red manuscript "5½"; lightly toned, Fine and rare high value three-color franking. Postage for this double-weight cover was 16kr Postal Union plus 20kr (5½ sgr) foreign via Belgium. Scott 52, 47, 50.

Württemberg 14kr yellow orange (Michel 41a), two pairs and four singles, used with 2kr orange and 9kr yellow brown (37b, 40a) on parcel card for a ½kg. parcel sent to Philadelphia via Bremen, cancelled "Rudersberg, 6/11/74" c.d.s.s., backstamped Bruchsal (7.11) and Bremen (8.11); one 14kr damaged (prior to placement on card), few card faults including corner crease affecting another 14kr, still a rare spectacular 70kr franking. Scott 52.

Württemberg 1869-73 Numeral issue (Michel 36//39), selection of 20 covers including 1kr blue green single franking, a 1kr used with three 3kr on registered cover, a 7kr single franking and two 1kr perforated: a single franking and a 1kr postal card; also;includes a used 1kr perforated off cover; selected Very Fine covers still on exhibit pages. Scott 47//53.

Württemberg 1874 1kr yellow green perforated and 1869 7kr blue (Michel 43, 39a), tied by two of three strikes "Riedlingen, 16/2 (4)" c.d.s. on 1875 registered folded cover to Kappel red and white registration label, backstamped Buchau (16.2); minor toning around 7kr, otherwise Very Fine and scarce mixed issue franking. Postage was 1kr for a "local" delivery (under two miles) plus the 7kr registration fee. Scott 54, 50.
