German States Collection, Outstanding parallel mint and used collection in two Lighthouse albums with innumerable blank pages inserted throughout. The first volume is entirely Bavaria with the other states filling the second. The collection is especially noteworthy for its specialized nature, being replete with cancellations (particularly in the Bavaria), multiples, imperfs and shade, plate and printing varieties. Nothing really rare and not everything is Very Fine but the quality is way above average and there are a good number of expertized items; all-in-all, a fabulous collection.

Germany Collection, 1868-1915, Fantastic parallel mint and used collection beginning with the issues of the NGPD and running through the 1905-19 Germanias. Loaded with better items, not only regular numbers but shades, multiples, cancels, sheet margin markings, imperfs, plate varieties, etc., etc., all mounted in one bulging album and identified by Michel number. Condition is a little mixed, especially early, but the majority is F-VF and there is plenty of never hinged material and a good number of certificates. A superb lot.

Included are wonderul specialized selections of the "AM POST" issue of 1945, the Posthorn overprints of 1948 and the Buildings of 1948-52. A few thousand stamps mounted by Michel number in one album with homemade pages. The best item we noted was Michel 33aD used with certificate (€800) but this collection most be viewed to appreciate its breadth and depth. Truly an amazing lot.
