FRANCE, 1849-1932, large stockbook covering Scott #1-289, classic issues exhibit the usual mixed quality but include some very nice stamps like a F-VF 15c #2 with certificate. Peace & Commerce types also include several nice $100-&-up stamps, but the 20th century is quite special. We note, for instance (all NH unless noted) 126 (3 LH), 131-132 (2 each), 197 (3 NH, 3 LH, 2 used), 236 (3), 246 (2 LH), 252 (3), 253 (3), 254 LH and 254A (4). Naturally, there are plenty of these and others in hinged and used condition. A terrific lot.
Estimate 7,500 - 10,000
