1866, 12½¢-$1, 1/8bbL-1bbL. Black defaced die proofs, four values on a full card page taken from Nehemiah G. Ordway's book American Bond Detector, the page also includes defaced proofs of two Cigar inspection strip stamps and a 40 gallon Distilled Spirits tax paid receipt stamp; very minor water stain around edges, still Very Fine and rarely seen as an intact page.

These defaced proofs were authorized by the Secretary of the Treasury to aid in counterfeit detection.
