1917, 8¢ olive bister (508), mathematically centered with huge, perfectly balanced margins, and deep, vibrant color, original gum, never hinged; a post office fresh and truly Superb Jumbo. Of the 119 never hinged examples graded to date by PSE, just two have been judged superior to this Superb 98, and only one other its equal. SMQ $620 for a normal 98.
