For President. Geo. B. McClellan, campaign envelope in black on cream with 3c Rose (65) pasted-over the face of McClellan and tied by double circle datestamp, to Middleville, N.Y., Very Fine. McClellan's 1864 bid for the White House inspired few designs; those that exist are almost never found used. The anti-Little Mack sentiment comes as no surprise, but this usage is probably unique.
