Stephens of Georgia", and includes a list of electors for 16 districts and two at-large electors; signature on back probably a Southern voter; Extremely Fine and choice, an exceptionally rare Confederate ballot.

Confederacy, Jefferson Davis, address leaf from a folded letter from H.T & W.T Beard of Emory, Miss. addressed to "Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States, Richmond, Va.", postmarked manuscript "Emory Miss, July 22" (1862) and "Paid 10", docketed and endorsed entirely in Davis' hand, "Enquiring whether they as Tanners are exempt form military service Confederate & State — Respectfully referred to Govr. Pettus [of Mississippi] for such action as may be proper in the case. (signed) Jeffn Davis, Aug. 2, 1862." Fine and rare.
