Confederacy, Collection, A fabulous, nearly intact collection of about 40 stamps (or blocks) and 30 covers. The best items include #3 (2 mint (1 NH), 1 used, all w/PFCs), 10¢ rose (2 used, 2 covers), T-E-N (2 unused, 1 used), 10¢ Frame Line (1 unused (2 lines), 1 cover (nearly 4 lines, stains), and a 20¢ green on cover (Raleigh NC), but there are plenty of nice $100-$500 items as well. Condition is well above average for this material, with the majority of the stamps being VF or better and the covers being generally F-VF. A rare offering.

Philippines, the 12¢ Lincoln Stamp of 1906-1914, mounted collection of about 45 stamps and 25 covers; the stamps include #246P1 cut to stamp size, a plate block of #295 and 20 "OB" overprints, both handstamped abd Banholtz; the covers include a nice range of uses from Registered and Special Delivery to unusual destinations and Pioneer Airmail flights. A marvelous lot.
