1875 Special Printing, 24¢ dull purple (175), deep pastel shade. Light oval registry cancel. Some perfs slightly blunted from the usual special printing scissor separation, light creases. Fine appearance.

While the Bank Note Special Printings were available for use as postage, in practice, probably no more than a total of 5 or 6 across all denominations were actually used.
