1906, 2¢ carmine, imperf, type I (320), horizontal pair. With private rouletting, fresh. Very Fine. Accompanied by a letter from Sydney D. Harris, for the Vending and Affixing Machine Perforation Society, explaining that, in his opinion, the pair was likely produced by C. H. Mekeel, who specialized in private perfs, etc. We are aware of no other examples.

1912, 1¢ 2¢ Kansas City Roulette (408-409 var.), margin block of four, hinged on 1919 sworn notarized statement that these blocks were rouletted in the Kansas City Post Office and were purchased over the counter during their authorized sale time. Very Fine.
