ONLY ABOUT 12 OF THE 1894 36¢ SOFT PAPERS HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED BY THE PF, AND ALL ARE FAULTY. THE PRESENT EXAMPLE, GIVEN THE "CREASE" IS NATURAL, IS THE ONLY SOUND EXAMPLE.

An earlier cert (#238417 as noted in the Siegel census and no longer present) noted a crease, which was properly revised to "natural" crease on the new certificate.
