1861, 3¢ pink (64), original gum, beautiful true color, quite nicely centered. Horizontal crease (virtually unnoticeable), reinforced vertical crease (does not detract). A Very Fine appearing example of the rare mint 1861 3¢ pink.

1861, 3¢ pigeon blood pink (64a), tied on piece by blue grid cancel, matching "Louisville Oct 31, 1861, Ky" double circle postmark in blue, well centered, a trifle oxidized (not mentioned in certs) but retains much of its original color, Very Fine.
