1851, 1¢ blue, type Ib (5A), position 3R1E tied on printed circular by Washington D.C. c.d.s. to Cadiz Ohio, the stamp has margins all around except barely touching lower right, with lovely color and a light cancel, the stamp and cover are Very Fine.

1851, 1¢ blue, type III (8), plate 4, relief c, tied on small cover to Portsmouth VA., the stamp has very large balanced margins all around, deep rich plate 4 color, grid cancel, and clear breaks at top and bottom, cover has a small stain bottom left (not mentioned in cert), an Extremely Fine stamp on a Fine cover.

1873, 6¢ dull pink (159), horizontal pair used with two 3¢ (158) paying 18¢ rate to Yokohama, Japan, originally mailed with one 3¢ additional stamps later placed over 3¢ to make up rate, all tied or tied together by attractive fancy cork cancels, Columbus, O. 9/1 CDS, boxed "collect charge" obliterated by cork cancel upon paying additional rate, San Francisco transit and magenta Yokohama receiving backstamps, adhesives with small flaws, unusual and interesting usage, Fine.
