Special Delivery, 1894, 10¢ blue, unwatermarked (E4), top plate no. 77 single, original gum, stamp barely hinged, precise centering within wide balanced margins, bright rich color on crisp paper. Couple perfs separated (mentioned for accuracy, not noted on certificate). A Superb mint single. SSV $4,250 (SMQ $4,300).

Special Delivery, 1917, 10¢ ultramarine (E11), scarce "pink back" variety, original gum never hinged, gum bend, essentially perfectly centered, incredibly rich color. Extremely Fine, Scott values "pink backs" at approximately a 400% premium. SSV $275 as normal (SMQ $425 as normal).

Special Delivery, 1922, 10¢ deep ultramarine (E12a), original gum never hinged, absolutely perfectly centered within very wide beautifully balanced margins, post office fresh with prooflike color and impression. Simply Superb, the highest grade awarded by the PF and the only example, there are three with this grade by the PSE and one 100J. SSV unpriced (SMQ $2,100).
