Highly attractive collection, 1851-1972, in a Scott National album, the 19th century is quite decent, mostly original gum, some faults, mostly minor with plenty F-VF. Highlights include: 11, 63, 113 (2), 116, 189, 205, 219-28 (less 225 and 220a), 230-40, 260-61, 271-276, 278 (used), 279-284 (two sets, only one 279B), 285-290. The quality in the 20th century dramatically improves with the large majority being F-VF or better. Highlights include 300-310, 323-341, 367-382, 414-440, 547-595 (less 594), 599A, 630, 634A, 658-679, apparently complete 1930-1972, back of book includes Airs complete (nice set of Zepps), E1-3, 10, Q1-11, etc. Lovely collection.

Accumulation of better unused 1851-1920, over 100 items, almost all original gum from Scott #227, including #9L (2), 36b, 69, 73, 87, 93, 97, 112-114, 119, 123, 161, 227, 239 (3), 240 (2), 241, 275 -276, 285-292, 310 (2), 326-27, 369 (2), 400 (4 and a block), 418 (2), 421, 460, 479, 524, 547. Mixed condition, flaws, reperfs, etc., but plenty F-VF with the occasional gem, and virtually all of very attractive appearance.

Old time 19th Century Collection, approximately 150 stamps plus a few covers, 1861-1898 mostly collected for attractive appearance, highlights include 70b red numeral cancel, 71 (2), 76 (3), 77 (2), 86, 89-90, 98, 114 (block), 149 (*), 152-153, 155 (2), 162 (3), 165-6, 230-242, 244, 276, 285-291 (2), etc., most of the better have faults, many minor, but among the lesser values are some gems, worth a careful look.

Commem singles and blocks, 1927-1950, mounted, including 646-648, blocks 704-715 (2 sets of blocks, one set of plate blocks), 752-770 complete in centerline or cross gutter blocks plus two additional sets of 756-65 centerline blocks, appears complete 1935-1950 in blocks, a few possible lightly hinged (including a set of blocks and the plate blocks of 704-15, lightly hinged at top), Very Fine throughout and overall exceptional centering with some possible high grades.

Balance of Officials Collection, 48 different, including O1-2, 6, 8-9, 17-24, 35-45 (less O40), O47-67, O93, O95 (used), O96, some regummed, disturbed original gum or no gum, but the majority are original gum, few reperfs/small flaws, but most F-VF, above average condition of these challenging stamps.

Comprehensive balance of a high quality collection of cut squares 1853//1972, largely complete, less the rarest items, probably half or more are full corners, highlights include 9-16, 24, 28-29, 34-73 (plus U67a, less U37,U48-49), 74-109 (less 89-90), 154, 172-217 (less U185, 197, 200, 213), 222-240 (less 226), 273-74, 286-88, 318-22, 324-347, 454, 456-57, 474-479, 489, 493-94, 500-506, 511, 520, UO14-17, 26-28, 30-43 (less UO38), 44, 46-59, 67-8, etc., while there are a few cut small or with minor faults, the overwhelming majority are VF-XF, a simply outstanding holding that would make a wonderful start on a most serious cut square collection.
