1923, 2¢ Harding, imperf (611), corner margin single with plate finisher's initials tied by one of two strikes Ehrenseld, Pa. duplex, May 26, 1924, on Amundsen Trans-Polar Flight promotional card to Norway, the second strike of the cancel ties a 3¢ Victory #537, which was applied when the local mail clerk apparently refused to accept the special 2¢ rate for these cards, and insisted that the 5¢ U.P.U. rate be paid, backstamped New York May 27, Kristiania June 14; 5O & 25O Norwegian stamps tied by Kings Bay c.d.s. June 8, 1925 for return to U.S., Very Fine and highly unusual.
