Camp Douglas, Ill., two covers, each with 3¢ rose (65) tied by blue Chicago postmark, first with manuscript examiners mark and addressed to Tenn. with original 1862 prisoner's letter, other is to Lima Academy, N.Y. from Union parolee anxious to get back to fighting, notes that newspaper accounts of his regiment not standing up to fire are incorrect, and betrayal of their Colonel who the writer is glad is dead; mixed condition, Fine.
