Boston, Mass., 1849-50, 1¢ blue on slate (3LB2), margins all around, red circle cancel, on 1853 folded letter to Indiantown, New Brunswick, single 1c blue (7) and 3c dull red (11), horiz. strip of three, latter with margins all around, tied together by lar ge "Paid" in grid struck three times, red "Boston 10 Cts. 12 Oct." c.d.s., reverse with St. Andrews, St. John and Indiantown postmarks; cover with few natural bleach spots, strip with tiny scissors cut at bottom right, Fine, rare usage.
