City Despatch Post, 1847-50, 2¢ black on green (40L4), ample to irregular but large margins, pencil cancel, on 1850 folded letter to Conn., stamp "tied" by strong indentation of cancel on reverse of sheet, red "New-York 5 cts 20 May" c.d .s. and matching "Paid" in arc, additional pencil "5" and "Paid 5 cts"; stamp with small tear at L., Fine and very scarce.
