Business Correspondence late 1850s to mid 1860s, several hundred covers, most with enclosures to John Bachman, who operated a planing mill in the Lancaster Pa area, and manufactured the wooden parts for house construction, about ¼ of the covers have #26s, the balance, 65s, the correspondence itself offers some insight into the lumber business at that time.
