1847, 5¢ red brown (1), ample margins to touching, tied by "Paid" with pointing hand in rarely seen blue, matching large "5" and "Hartford Ct. Aug. 11" c.d.s. on ca. 1848 folded cover to New Bedford, stamp additionally pen cancelled, two small bleach spots, Fine appearance, rare with this marking tying the stamp.
