1847, 5¢ dark brown (1a [3]), three singles, all with full to large margins, except center stamp just touching at top, deep intense color with proof-like impressions, all cancelled by matching bold strikes of blue circular grid cancellations,and right stamp tied by matching "Baltimore Md. Aug 11" c.d.s. on 1847 folded letter to Philadelphia Pa.; right stamp tiny margin tear at bottom; still a Very Fine usage.
