3¢ ultramarine, gray paper (114 var.), deep color, tied by "Seneca Falls N.Y. Apr 7" duplex cancellation on fancy illustrated "Rumsey & Co., Pump & Fire-Engine Works" envelope to Steeles Tavern, Va., accompanied by similar Rumsey & Co. advertising used with 1869 3¢ on normal paper sent two months later; stamp with some abrasion (not mentioned on Certificate), cover with small tear and minor toning, a Fine and interesting exhibition pair.
