Airmail, 1930, 65¢ Graf Zeppelin (C13), tied by Washington, D.C. First Day cancel on small dual-cacheted cover flown Friedrichshafen - Lakehurst with two $1.30 Zeppelins (C14) added later to pay the $2.60 rate, backstamped green Lakehurst Zeppelin receiver, 31 May, Fine and quite rare. A most unusual and perhaps unique FDC. Michel 66G.

The FDC was apparently delivered to the addressee, Walter Feeney, in Irvington, N.J., who then added the two $1.30 stamps in time for the voyage to Germany and flight from Friedrichshafen to Lakehurst.
