1851, 1¢ blue, type II (7, 11), position 90R1E, used with 3¢ dull red (11) plate I, late horizontal strip of three tied by "New-York Br. Pkt./Jul 20" c.d.s. in red on 1859 (July 8) folded letter originating in Havana, Cuba to Brussels (Aug. 2) via London (Aug.), manuscript "10" and "12" (décimes) rating, the 1¢ has surface damage at left and the 3¢ is affected by aging, unusual origin and destination with 10 cents postage being pre-paid ship rate to New York, but unpaid to Europe.
