1861, 30¢ orange (71), tied, together with a 3¢ rose (65), by large Boston PAID grid on 1861 folded letter to Cape of Good Hope, red handstamped "28" rate with red "1d" British credit and London transit c.d.s., Dec 2, postmarked red "Boston Br. Pkt. Paid, Nov 18" and Port Elizabeth receiving oval on reverse, along with blue sender's handstamp, Very Fine. A gorgeous cover.
