1898, $1 Trans-Miss. (292), top margin imprint and plate number 606 pair. Wonderfully fresh with particularly intense color on bright paper, near perfectly centered. O.g., lightly hinged on the selvage, stamps are never hinged. Trifling small light selvage bend at top right. Otherwise Extremely Fine. A superlative plate number pair.
