1878 (19 Sep/1 Oct.) stampless cover from Moscow to Jerusalem, a 10 ruble money letter sent via Odessa (23.9/5.10), Volochisk (25.9/7.20), Galizia (Poland, 8.10) and Austria, forwarded to Jaffa, five red wax seals on reverse, Fine. Manuscript rates (in kopeks) are "10 (postage +) 15 (insurance +) 5 (return receipt =) 30" plus 10k ("p 30/40") for forwarding.
