1857, 3¢ dull red, type II and two 3¢ dull red (24, 26), two singles, 1¢ with partial imprint, on 3¢ entire (U10) from Berlin Pa. to Richmond Hill, Canada West, one of each tied by two strikes handstamped "10", other 3¢ and the 3¢ entire cancelled by "Paid 3" in circle, postmarked bold "Berlin, Pa., Sep 3" c.d.s.; cover reduced slightly at left with restoration at corners, an unusual and most attractive usage.
