No.1 Manila Phil Isl'date stamp Rec'd Sep 14" transit c.d.s. (Baker CE-1) and Greefield Oct 23 receiver, soiled and edgewear, tear at top, Fine usage, scarce postmark.

The type 1.1 postmark was the first marking used under the U.S. administration on Guam. It was used by the Navy Department operation first on the Yomesite, and later in Agana when the post office moved ashore.
