U.S. Troops: 1918 (Aug. 25) envelope to Minnesota, showing "U.S.S. Olympia/Foreign Service" rubber duplex, endorsed "Soldier's Mail, Foreign Service", the Olympia joined Allied Forces on May 24, landed sailors at the garrison of Murmansk on May 27, remaining there until the end of October when she went to Archangel, scarce only about 20 envelopes recorded of this ship's stay in North Russia.
