Justice Dept., 1875, 1¢ purple, overprinted "Specimen" (O25SDb, O25SDc), second printing on ribbed paper, complete sheet of 100 stamps showing the dotted "i" variety in positions 7 and 26, without gum as issued. Some separation, sensible reinforcement, fine-very fine centering, faint vertical crease running down from position 6, trivial for such a large and outstanding item.
