Dec 12 1882" fishtail "5" duplex, blue House of Representatives U.S. corner card; second is tied by "Brattleboro, Vt. Nov 16 '82" duplex with "B" in barred oval, light West Randolph receiver on reverse; Very Fine. Estimate 400 - 500
The P.O. Dept. always furnished Congressmen and Senators with official stamps for return postage on such matters as a postmaster appointments; these covers are examples of this practice.
