Postage Due, 1885, 1s slate black (J9), horizontal pair showing two variations in the oblique stroke in value figure, used with 1885 8d slate black, all tied by Post of Spain (22.2) c.d.s. on large piece of 1897 cover addressed to a ship passenger, bearing 1896 ½d dull purple and rose pair tied by same c.d.s., small part of circle "T" taxe handstamp; file fold through bottom ½d, Fine and very scarce use of 1s dues.
