[To New Zealand] 1870, 6¢ carmine (148), used with 10¢ brown (150), originally mailed with 10¢ tied by "Newark Mar 15" duplex and "Held for Postage" circular h.s. struck, reverse with good samaritan label, 6¢ added and tied by "Newark N.J. Mar 26" duplex on 1873 cover to New Zealand for the 16¢ British mail rate via Southampton, red "New York '12' Mar 27" exchange cds, red London (4.7.73) transit and Dunedin (6.12) arrival cds; some soiling, 10¢ tiny flaws, Very Fine, a scarce good samaritan use abroad.
