[To Philippines] 1870, 6¢ carmine (148), used with 10¢ brown (150) pair and single, all tied by corks on 1872 cover to Singapore at the 36¢ British mails rate via Brindisi, then carried out of mails to Manila, Philippines, "Boston Paid Jun 27" c.d.s. and red crayon "30" credit rating, Liverpool (2.8) tombstone transit and red "1d" crayon credit, Singapore (3.1) arrival backstamp; small edge tear and slight toning, a Very Fine and rare use, only recorded 6¢ National or Continental to the Philippines.
