Whiting & Co's Feather River Express, boxed printed frank with ornate frame, on 3¢ pink entire (U34) to San Francisco, mostly clear strike of "Whiting & Co's Express Quincy Aug. 26" double line circle with "Paid" inserted above date, in combination with blue "Wells Fargo & Co Marysville Aug. 28" double oval datestamp, opened irregularly at R. into indicia, very scarce.
