Lot 351
Collection of Miscellaneous Postal History. Approximately 40 covers including some interesting and unusual usages; for instance, we note 15 Express Company covers (most in less-than Fine condition), a four margin 5¢ 1847 on cover (probably doesn't belong), a letter supposedly written by a seven-year-old girl to her father in which she encloses a stamp for him to write back - a rather nice 4-margin 1¢ #7 affixed to the letter; a 10¢ 1869 on a mourning cover to Brussels, Belgium; a 12¢ 1869 on a legal size cover; a 30¢ #71 used with a 3¢ & two 10¢ to Canton, China; etc., etc.; condition is quite mixed, but still a useful lot. Estimate 300 - 400
