1848 Retaliatory Rates, one cover and three folded letters from Great Britain to the U.S., the cover is a very early use (July 1, 1848) with a red handstamped "24";others are an ms 48 double rate, a circular date stamp "New York ship Sept 15 29¢" and an ms "29" handsome and scarce group.
