1855, 10¢ green, type II (14), horizontal strip of three, full to large margins, rich color, tied by open grids on undated cover to Alme, Prussia, tiny manuscript "Saxonburg Pa. Feb. 23" postmark at lower left, bold red "N. York 7 Br. Pkt. Paid Mar. 4" exchange postmark and red boxed Aachen Franco datestamp; cover with two opening tears on back only, strip with light vertical scuff mark in right stamp and two tiny scissors cuts entirely in margins at bottom, Very Fine appearance, rare small town usage.
