1852-57, 3¢ brownish carmine of 1856 (11), 1R5L with sheet margin, guide line and a good bit of position 10L showing across the gutter, also shows variable inking from uneven plate wiping with the top half being a lighter shade than the bottom, full margins to barely touching, Cape Vincent N.Y. c.d.s., fresh and F-VF, a rare example of a double variety.
