Peru, 1890 cover to Cajamarca (Sept. 10), bearing previously used 10c with fancy "Estampilla/Usada" double ring handstamp adjacent as well as oval "Multada/100 cts/Lima" handstamp, and on reverse Postage Due 1884 "Peru" overprint on 1874 50c vertical pair tied by "Correos/Lima" date stamp (Aug. 22), envelope opened out for display, interesting occurrence of fraudulent use of stamp with the Dues representing an extreme penalty of 1 sol applied at post office of origin where the infraction was spotted.
